Chase Bank Opens at Saratoga Village

New branch brings to three the number of such financial institutions in the city.

Chase Bank opened a new branch last month in Saratoga Village at 14410 Big Basin Way.

The new establishment, located at the site of the now-closed Corinthian Corners, is 5,200 square feet, and is open 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Saturday, said Chase Bank spokeswoman Eileen Leveckis.

The branch is also good for the local economy. It's hired 10 employees, which include specialists such as small business bankers, mortgage loan officers and Chase private client advisers, as well as personal bankers and tellers.

The branch, which had its grand-opening Nov. 13 and its open house Nov. 17, features the following new technology:

  • Self-service banking kiosks that perform the traditional functions of an ATM as well as others, such as bill-pay and cash withdrawal in any denomination
  • So-called "instant-issue technology," or debit cards created on the spot for customers opening new accounts, or who lose their cards

The parking lot is shared with nearby businesses, Leveckis said.

There are two other Chase Bank branches in Saratoga and three in Los Gatos.
