Santa Cruz Mountains Vintners’ Festival, “Roots That Rock,” Announces Line-up for Downtown Santa Cruz Street Faire

First Downtown Wine Festival In Over 10 Years Will Feature Wine, Artisan Food, Entertainment & Art The Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association, representing more than 70 wineries located within one of the most unique natural environments for wine-growing in the world, today released a preview of the line-up for the Downtown Santa Cruz Street Faire. The Street Faire takes place June 9, from 11am to 3pm on Pacific Avenue (between Locust and Walnut Streets) in downtown Santa Cruz. Tickets are available online at http://scmvintnersfestival.eventbrite.com. Celebrating "Roots That Rock,” the Downtown Santa Cruz Street Faire is new to this year’s Vintners’ Festival and provides a taste of the Santa Cruz Mountains in a convenient one-stop street faire atmosphere. Sip and buy wines from legendary winemakers of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Wine tasters will be able to sample wines that are not always available outside of a tasting room. Many of the participating wineries are generally not open to the public or are limited to special event-only tastings. The street faire will also feature artisan foods, local art and live entertainment.
