NOW THROUGH DEC. 31

The 14th annual Fantasy of Lights show continues every evening 6-10 p.m. through Monday, Dec. 31, including holidays, at Vasona Lake County Park, 333 Blossom Hill Rd. The event consists of a 1.5-mile drive-through holiday lights and display entertainment extravaganza. According to organizers, the show is the premier holiday lights spectacular in Northern California. Details: 408-355-2201.

DEC. 22

The Retro Dome, 1694 Saratoga Ave., presents Santastic! 11 a.m.-2 p.m. each Saturday in December, beginning Dec. 1 and ending Dec. 22.

THROUGH DEC. 21

Food donations can be dropped off at Saratoga City Hall, Joan Pisani Community Center, Saratoga Prospect Center, and Saratoga Library. Donations will be accepted until Dec. 21 and given to Second Harvest Food Bank.

DEC. 3

The Saratoga Community Band presents a free winter concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3 at the McAfee Center for the Performing Arts at Saratoga High School, 20300 Herriman Ave.

DEC. 7-8

A miserable con man and his partner pose as Santa and his Little Helper to rob department stores on Christmas Eve. But they run into problems when the conman befriends a troubled kid, and the security boss discovers the plot. Movie show times 7:30 p.m. at The Retro Dome, 1694 Saratoga Ave. Tickets are $9 adults, $8 students, seniors and military and $7 youth age 12 and under. Details: 408-404-7711. Movies are presented with a 5-10 minute curtain speech; no movie trailers are shown.

Help those in need by donating to the City of Saratoga's annual holiday toy and food drive. Barrels for toy donations are located at the Saratoga city manager's office and at the Saratoga History Museum. Toys should be new, unwrapped, and nonviolent. Gifts for teenagers are in demand. Toys will be collected through Dec. 13 and given to Sacred Heart Community Service.
