On
November 19, 1863, President Abraham Lincoln spoke at the dedication of the
cemetery at Gettysburg, site of a pivotal battle of the American Civil War.

Dr. Robert Senkewicz will discuss the way our understanding of that war has
changed during the subsequent 150 years. Dr. Senkewicz is a professor in the
History Department of Santa Clara University and also served as the faculty
director of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at SCU. Co-sponsored by Los
Gatos-Saratoga AAUW and Saratoga Library
