Meeting Date correction

I goofed!  The next Saratoga City Council meeting is NOT this evening; it is June 5.  I apologize and hope I didn't cause any inconvenience.

The Council only meets twice a month, first and third Wednesdays, no matter how many weeks are in the month! 

It is likely that the discussion to adopt some or all of the Planning Commission's recommendations will end and a vote will be taken on June 5.  That includes the recommendation to raise the height limit for commercial/mixed use at the Gateway and possibly, Argonaut, Azule and Quito as well.

Several of the Planning Commission's recommendations are great and I support those; I do not support raising the height to nearly 3 stories (once A/C, elevator shafts, etc are included) at the Gateway.  Or anywhere else for that matter.

This week's Saratoga News contained a wonderful article on why Saratoga is Saratoga; if you haven't read it, please do.  Hopefully that article is available on line if you do not take or read the Saratoga News.
