Saratoga City Hall Closed For the Holidays

Civic center shutting down Dec. 21-Jan. 1.

Saratoga City Hall will close on Friday, Dec. 21 through Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 for a combination of unpaid furloughs and holidays.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office in downtown San Jose, 55 W. Younger Ave., is open 24 hours a day. However, the office headed by Santa Clara County sheriff's captain Kenneth Binder, at 1601 So. De Anza Blvd. #148, in Cupertino, will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday and Tuesday, Jan. 1, in observance of the New Year's holiday.

The Cupertino office's hours of operation are 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office provides law enforcement services for Saratoga, Cupertino and Los Altos Hills.

The Saratoga Library will be closing early Monday, Dec. 24 at 5 p.m. and will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 25, reopening for regular hours on Wednesday, Dec. 26. For New Year's, the library will once again close early on Monday, Dec. 31 and be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013.

Garbage and recycling pickup provided by West Valley Collection will occur as normal on Friday, Dec. 21 and 28.

Saratoga Union School District schools will also be closed Monday, Dec. 24 through Friday, Jan. 4. Classes resume on Monday, Jan. 7.
