Key to Awesomeness:

“It’s a pleasure to teach Gino new things. He’s like a sponge. He quickly absorbs new concepts and loves learning. He puts his heart into whatever he does and it’s such a joy to watch Gino learn and grow,” according to proud mom Caroline Prasad.

"The Destination Imagination project really helped Gino a lot to think outside the box and enhance his creativity skills. It helped him to make new friends and develop the skills to work effectively in a team. Winning at the California state level really boosted his confidence and self-esteem, and the project experience was great at developing his public speaking skills as he and his team had to prepare, present and perform in a variety of events,” said his father Neil Prasad.

Gino and his team had to develop creative solutions to plan, implement and execute their outreach project to help those in need in the community. It enabled Gino to collaborate with his friends to get involved in helping the local community, and gave him a better appreciation of the joys of helping others in need. “We wish Gino and his team the very best in the D.I. global finals and other future projects,” added his mom.
