Village Preschool of Saratoga Says Hello

We want to share with Saratoga Patch readers our history, goals, programs and thoughts about early childhood education.

Greetings, Saratoga.

We are the Village Preschool and we would like to thank the Saratoga Patch for giving us the opportunity to tell people in our community about what is happening at our school and in the field of early childhood education.

Our program has been in Saratoga for 50 years and was started by Fran Richmond as an outreach of Saratoga Federated Church in 1962.

We have grown and evolved into a well-respected program that still delights in watching the wonder of little children as they grow and develop and learn about the world around them and eventually venture out into the formal school process.

It is our goal to try to preserve and protect the joyful opportunities all small children deserve, while finding opportunities to spark their individualism, creative thinking and their open-minded approach to the world around them. We also feel early childhood should help foster good little citizens for the future.

We look forward to sharing ideas, current happenings and our thoughts about early childhood education here with you through this blog. Stay tuned for our next post.
