Participating wineries will include: Grgich Hills Estate, Napa Valley; J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines, Santa Clara Valley; Kathryn Kennedy Winery, Santa Cruz Mountains; Ridge Vineyards, Santa Cruz Mountains; Rombauer Vineyards, Napa Valley; Silver Oak, Napa Valley; and Talbott Vineyards, Santa Lucia Highlands, among others.

A nonprofit organization dedicated to the arts, Montalvo Arts Center serves the community with a variety of programs designed to celebrate and grow the creative spirit.

As a major part of this endeavor, Montalvo organizes arts-based education programs for youth at K-12 levels. With camps, workshops, and its world-class Family Performing Arts series, Montalvo serves more than 15,000 Bay Area children annually.

Another major mechanism of Montalvo’'s art outreach efforts is the Sally and Don Lucas Artists Residency Program—, the oldest residency program of its kind west of the Mississippi, —which brings more than 60 artists from all over the world to the Bay Area every year.

During their tenure, Artists-in-Residence directly engage with the public by mounting free presentations and discussions, leading master classes in local schools, or creating outdoor sculpture and installation art on the grounds of Montalvo.

Food & Wine X will be Montalvo'’s only major fundraising benefit in 2013, and its proceeds will benefit these programs.

Attendees can further support Montalvo while adding extra enjoyment to their food and wine experience by purchasing VIP tickets, which are $350 per person. They provide access to premier parking and an exclusive reception in the Italianate Garden beginning at 4:30 p.m. Sponsorship packages are also available at a variety of levels.

Additional funding will be raised through luxury raffles and live and silent auctions featuring items such as rare and limited-edition wines, deluxe dining and travel packages, and one-of-a-kind experiences.

Attendees will also have the option to “fund a need,” making contributions to sponsor tuition for a child in need to attend a Montalvo arts camp or help sponsor the creation of an original work of art for the 2013 Art on the Grounds program.
